TERMS AND CONDITIONS : Your booking at Rainbow Cottage holidays is subject to your acceptance of our terms and conditions.

Bookings:
A non-returnable deposit of £100 (for cottages), £250 (farmhouse) is required on booking your holiday. The balance outstanding must be paid at least 28 days prior to your holiday commencement date. All bookings will be confirmed in writing.

Late Bookings:
As late as you like providing the property is available. Full payment on booking or on arrival.

Payment:
We accept payment by all major credit and debit cards, or by cheque or postal order made payable to 'J and L Holdings.

Cancellation:
We recommend you take out travel insurance as we can not refund monies paid to us for your booking.

The Property:
You and all members of your holiday rental party agree to keep the property clean and tidy and to leave the property in a similar condition as you found it upon arrival. We will charge appropriately for any damages caused or cleaning required when the property is not left as found on arrival. You and all members of your holiday party further agree not to use the property for any commercial purposes, including without limitation, assigning or subletting it or otherwise allowing anyone to occupy it who has not previously been accepted by us.

You are responsible for the actual costs of any breakages or damage in or to the property, along with any additional costs that may result, which are caused by you and/or members of your holiday rental party. You must not allow more people than are indicated in the brochure/or on the website to occupy the property, neither can you significantly change the composition of the holiday rental party.

Force Majeure:
We will not be liable for any changes, cancellations, effect on your holiday, loss or damage suffered by you or for any failure to perform or properly perform any of our respective obligations to you which is due to any event(s) or circumstance(s) beyond our reasonable control, e.g. fire, flood, exceptional weather conditions, epidemics, destruction or damage of the property by any cause and all similar situations. In appropriate cases, e.g. where your booking has to be cancelled before departure, we will refund to you all monies paid to us for your booking.
No compensation, expenses, costs or other sums of any description (including without limitation the cost of securing an alternative property/accommodation) will be payable in such circumstances by us.

Data Protection Act:
If you give us a name, address and contact numbers, we will only use them internally e.g. to send you special offers and information. We will not pass your information onto a third party.
