In the heart of CARMARTHENSHIRE amidst rolling hills where RED KITES gracefully glide a warm welcome awaits you at RAINBOW COTTAGES AND CWM HOWELL . The Cottages and Farmhouse are situated approximately 5 miles from the historic town of Carmarthen - Wales's oldest town and can be found nestling in the hillside of a 100 acre working farm enjoying stunning views of the TOWY VALLEY.
Rainbow Cottage Holidays provides a rural retreat with outstanding unspoilt countryside views and walks right from the door. The area is a wildlife haven with Red Kite, Buzzards, Pheasants, Foxes, Rabbits etc. battling for survival. The grounds itself are home to a dozen or more peacock and peahen and a family of friendly white doves.
The ACCOMMODATION comprises of briefly, THREE STONEBUILT ADJOINING COTTAGES: two of which sleeps 2, the third sleeps 4 and a LARGE FARMHOUSE which sleeps 8 -10. This smallholding is situated in 10 acres of mixed amenity land and woodland and is accessed via a farm track where sheep and cattle usually graze in the adjacent fields.
The cottages stand in their own large fenced garden with plenty of patio and seating areas and has the added attraction of a POWERFUL 8 SEATER HOT TUB in which you can relax, star gaze and enjoy it's health benefits.
The Farmhouse has a large garden, patio, duckpond with running stream and water feature.
Walking, fishing, horse riding, cycling, castles, beaches, forests and theme parks, it is all within easy reach from us. What's more at Rainbow Cottage Holidays, you can indulge in whatever your taste whilst experiencing peace and tranquility, invigorating country air and natural spring fed water. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of city life, this beautiful part of Wales is the place for you.
An array of traditional, welcoming COUNTRY PUBS and RESTAURANTS can be found within a few miles of the accommodation - the nearest being approx. 2 miles away. Whilst SUPERMARKETS, Tesco, Morrisons etc. can be found 6 miles away in Carmarthen.

CARMARTHEN SHOWGROUND hosts an exciting Diary of Events throughout the year, such as the Welsh Boat Show, Homes and Gardens Show, Transport Festival, Honda Goldwing Rally.
